Catching up

Digitally doodled some Mom Jeans the other night (queue SNL's short starring Amy Poehler) just for fun!

I love moms in general, mine especially :)
(In a cool, not creep way. Duh!)

And got commissioned to letter this cute quote from my favorite 3rd grade book, Fantastic Mr. Fox! It's going in a little boy's nursery that happens to be fox themed. Love it! So sweet :)

Working on the weekends

I love getting quick, fun commissions I can work on over the weekend! This was a little sewing project I did for Haute Papier. A couple hundred raw silk belly bands to hold together a couture wedding invitation! Glad I got to dust off my sewing machine and so happy the outcome was so gorgeous!

UNBREAKABLE!

Sundays are a day for art and naps! I spent the morning inking words and scanning 24 pieces of chipboard littered with lettering onto my computer so I could edit them on photoshop.

Awesome way to get texture and get away from the computer for a little bit. 

Had to make a print from Netflix's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" 

Such a hilarious show with excellent one liners. This line spoke to me. FEMALES ARE STRONG AS HELL.
