Mystery Team

What does a burger, a cell phone and peebeejay have in common? No clue. But if you quick (!) go sign up for StudioDIY's newsletter, the mystery will be solved tomorrow morning! Kelly sends a once a week, totally cute roundup email and she'll be giving away 3 of my stationery designs. Exciting!

I'll share the designs later this week, but if you want the first peeks, head on ova to the StudioDIY blog! Like, cmon guys.

Ps. Life has been kicking my butt the past (long pause---) forever and this commish was tough!!! But SO fun! And turned out cute as fudge...
Working real early in the morning and being sick and snotty AND trying to stay up late to finish quick projects is testing me mentally/physically/emotionally but I'm still alive. Success.

The 3 P's

Popcorn. Pacey. Pattern making.

Spending my night watching Dawson's Creek, eating too much popcorn (as per usual,) and painting lots of patterns in my sketchbook. Not making anything serious, but I had fun playing around and mixing watercolors with my new set of gouaches.

The pattern to the left is inspired by a craving for some chocolate chip cookies. *Super serious artist*

This City Is Going To Kill Me

I found this blog post in my drafts and I although I DO intend on elaborating on my move and all the art I have created since I left my hometown in October '14, right now, I think this post speaks for itself.

When I decided to leave, I created 6 stickers and printed a million and stuck them up all around Tucson. It was a love letter to Tucson, and a love letter to everyone cool I left behind.

Marvin in one of my packing boxes...

Before I left, I got to see my favorite inspiration of a musical artist, K.flay! She was so amazing live and so nice to my best friends and I.
Her dope music got me through college and continues to heal me.

My neighbor and family friend made me this itty bitty, very yummy, going away cake. I loved it!
